Chamela

The small town of Chamela and the Chamela Bay at the Costa Alegre in Jalisco, Mexico offer to the traveler a hidden paradise. The bay, also called Bay of Islands, due to the small islands inside the bay, features many travel related services including bungalows, resorts, nice and affordable vacation rentals, shops, restaurants and much more. While the small village of Pérula is located on the north end of the Bahia de Chamela, the town Chamela is located on the bays south end. As the bay is close to Barra de Navidad a short visit by bus is highly recommendable.
