La Manzanilla

La Manzanilla is a small community of about 3500 people between Careyes and Melaque, its neighbor to the north is Boca de Iguanas and to the south the village El Tamarindo is located. La Manzanilla is located at the southernmost end of the bay and features besides some hotels in different classes and many vacation rentals, some shops and interesting restaurants. Just about 20 kilometers north of Melaque La Manzanilla is accessible by the highway Mex 200 or by the highway Mex 80 from Guadalajara.
